The Hyundai Santa Fe has a bold design language, highlighted with Hyundai’s signature. On the front there is a well-built cascading grille with composite LED Daytime Running Lights which are positioned on the top of the BiLED headlights. The overall exterior look of the Hyundai Santa Fe is characterized by its big size and bold image with powerful athletic body, which can be seen from distance. Enhanced by the Korean style it gives recognizable feel in Hyundai’s SUV lineup like his smaller brother the KONA.
Dynamic look and sporty lines define the exterior look, from the front LED headlights to the back LED tail lights. Beautiful satin color surround and provides a sleek impression along with improved visibility than ever before. Interior Design of the new Hyundai Santa Fe!
The Santa Fe interior design has a major styling changes, combines premium quality with a huge amount of space featuring a strong horizontal design theme and enhanced visibility. Premium touch feel materials such as the layered, three-dimensional instrument panel and contrasting seat stitching ensures a high level of luxury.
Plenty of room in both driver side and passengers, huge amount of leg room and head room. Big and spacious luggage space for enthusiasts who want to travel longer journeys and need a bigger space, as an option there are two more comfortable rear seats for the smaller kids, counting totally seven.
Behind the multi-functional steering wheel there is a 7-inch driver information screen, but on the top there is a head-up display for more precise and more focused drive. On the central console there is optional 8-inch media touch screen, which can be oriented by the physical buttons on the side, but for the standard model there would be 7-inch screen which doesn’t support navigation.
However every single model of the new Hyundai Santa Fe will support both Apple Play and Android Auto app software. Wireless charging for the smartphones as well two on the front and two USB charging ports on the back as well, as the 220v charging port for those who want fast charging for their smart phones.
Safety features and Technology
The new Santa Fe has a ton of safety features and technology to choose from. Hyundai’s Rear Cross Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCW) multiply sensors put eyes and legs in the back of drivers’ heads. Using the Blind Spot Detection system’s radar sensors when backing up, the system can not only warn the driver if other vehicles approach from the rear side, it can also activate the brakes automatically.
Rear Occupant Alert the system monitors the rear seats using an ultrasonic sensor that helps to detect the movements of children or pets Hyundai’s Blue Link connected car system, Safe Exit Assist This feature is Hyundai’s first ever safety feature to be implemented into a vehicle what is actually doing is that temporarily prevents doors from being opened when a vehicle approaches from behind even when the doors are unlocked.
Safe Exit Assist works even if the driver has left the button in offline mode. When the Safe Exit Assist detects an approaching object rearward it sounds an alert for passengers, a warning pops up on the driver’s central display immediately, and the doors remain locked.
Specifications and Powertrain for the Hyundai Santa Fe
The new Hyundai Santa Fe comes with All Wheel Drive system, providing variable torque in each four wheels that needed. Three variety of engines are there to choose from, two of them are the cleaner version with lower emission, one is natural aspirated petrol engine and the other is turbocharged petrol version, the third one is turbocharged diesel for those who would go for the better fuel economy and more torque. All of the three engine are powered by with a brand new 8-speed automatic gearbox.
- Natural Aspirated Petrol Engine 2.4 liter GDI is an inline 4-cylinder petrol engine with 185 hp and 241 nm of torque.
- Turbocharged Petrol Engine 2.0 liter GDI is an inline 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 235 hp and 352 nm of torque.
- Turbocharged Diesel Engine 2.2 liter CRDi is an inline 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 190 hp and 436 nm of torque.
